Can I ask what type of computer you have and what operating system (windows 8, etc)?

Also is this problem only occurring for this game or does it also occur for other rpg maker games?

On my computer (any PC/MS laptop, etc, I think), I can right-click the desktop, choose Display Settings, then Advanced DIsplay Settings, and change the resolution.  Some computers nowadays resolution settings that won't run some games full screen, and changing the setting works sometimes.

Just a suggestion of something you might try.

In the same folder where the save files are kept

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Aveyond 4

there is a file called "settings.txt"

Shut down the game and open that, and you'll see a line that says "@fullscreen false"  (at least is should say that).  Change the false to true and save the file.  Open up the game and see if that changed it.

I too can't get full screen after a year of it working OK.  None of the solutions given work for me at all.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times.  There is nothing wrong with my computer (other than it being Windows 10) and it has worked fine until now.  This is really annoying and no one seems to be able to help us.  I see that there are a lot of problems with this.  Has anyone found a fix yet, I've just noticed the post is dated April.
