Mel is a clever thief living in Harburg, a forest city tucked away in the Shadow Woods. When a client offers her a considerable reward to steal an orb from a noble’s home, she can’t resist. Things don’t go quite as planned and before she knows it, she’s on the run from a devious vampire mage, Gyendal, who think’s she is the key to plunging the world into darkness, which is good for the undead, but bad for living.
Mel discovers that she’s the descendent of a wicked sorcerer who died 200 years ago. Worse, it appears that supporters of the sorcerer want her to finish what he started. She’s not onboard with their plans and escapes, but they are determined to make her finish the job against her will if she won’t do it willingly.
Mel finds an unlikely ally in the vampire Te’ijal who helps her escape. Together they and a colorful group of companions set out together on a quest to thwart Gyendal’s plans. Help Mel and team traverse a vast, snowy wilderness, rugged mountain ranges, and get a glimpse into the Underworld on your adventure.
