Happy New Year everyone! I’m on Pacific time, too, so we have a few hours to go. My resolution is to get at least one if my old games converted to Unity, create an RPG Maker like editor for HeroKit, and to take my workouts to the next level. Wishing you all a great 2018!

Happy New Year guys! 2017 was a bit rough to me, I’m hoping to get everything back on track, keep writing and drawing, and start to play around with RPGMaker a bit. XD Meanwhile, I’ll stick to my daily routines of reading (I’m currently reading Lolita) and Ballet Beautiful exercises! Good luck to everyone with your 2018 plans! Enjoy this brand new year! ❤️❤️

PiPeter got a reaction from Ishti in Aveyond 1: Nox's Quest (Randomized cast) Part 1
    One day...

A young Nox was minding her own business when a curious butterfly approached her. She reached out for it, and was transported to a snowy land. Here she found a priest, laying down on the ground, asking for help. The two went back through a portal that was created and young Nox screamed out: "PA, PA! Come quick!". A man responded: "What trouble did you get in this time?!?". He came to young Nox's aid. He himself was a huntsman named Rye. The mysterious priest said: "Is that you...? Rye... The time has come...". Nox replied: "You know this guy dad?". Rye replied with silence until he said: "Imma get this guy back home", as he carried the priest away. Just then, a voice whispered in Nox's head:" Welcome to Aveyond. Before you've even done anything, you should save your game!"
Nox replied:"WHO ARE YOU?!?! WHY ARE YOU IN MY HEAD?!?"
The voice replied:" I am your sister who isn't even in this story! Sorry for all my fans "
Nox then sighed, and went on with her adventure.

In the village Nox saw a person. A special person. A person who has a strong relationship with Nox. It was Gavin.
She really... REALLY hated Gavin with passion. He spoke out to her: "Hey hun, how you doin'?"
Nox replied to his question with her knuckles.
She went on to her house where she found her Ma (A woman named Marge), standing at the dinner table. She said: "Nox, did you find this man in a bar? He looks hammered!".
Nox kind of agreed, but went to check on them anyway. Rye told her: "Go find the herbalist, she'll know how to get him sober." Nox went to the farthest house in the village to find the herbalist, who came with her. As soon as they got there, her father told her that she should go to her mom for chores and Marge told her she should go an find alot of MarionBells. Nox didn't like flowers, but got them anyway. She delivered them and went to bed. That's when she saw a vision...

Hepatitus: "Speak up foolish woman! Did you kill the priest?!?"
Stella: "Lol no how'd you expect me to kill him i'm a bloody healer why'd you even send me"
Hepatitus: "I should've just sent the new guy."
    Stella: "New guy?"
That moment, Pirate John came in.
John: " What is up bois, it's ye boi Johnny Depp "
Stella: "You've got to be kidding me! A PIRATE?!?!"
Hepatitus: "I know right, What does every evil group need? That's right. A Pirate."
John: "I'll get that little girl to kick the bucket. I found this beautiful little slave trader guy who'll make sure she's going to India"
    Hepatitus: "Lovely plan"

    Meanwhile, back in Clearwater...
    Nox: "So who are you?"
Priest: " A person your dad once knew. Take this ring, imma nap"
Voice in Nox's head: "YOU'VE GOT AN ITEM BE SURE TO EQUIP IT WITH "
Nox: "SHUT UP UMA NOONE WANTS TO HEAR YOU"
The priest awkwardly stares at Nox, screaming at someone who isn't there.
She hears a voice from her door. Nox says:" Peter (yes this is his name in the game) what are you doing here"
Peter:" Yo, me and Jenna are gonna go chase Billy Harper's sheep! Wanna come?"
Nox agrees and follows Peter to the caves, where she finds a strange man, who grabs her.
Slave Trader: "Hello there, my name is Jack and I'm here to take you to your destination."
Nox: "But there isn't any fast-travel in this game..."
Jack: " Lol I know but we're going to this place named Ghalara in 3,2,1"
Nox: "I feel like this won't go well"

And that's it for now folks. Huge thanks to @Ishti for suggesting this idea and if the feedback is good, I'll make more. Peace!

    Heya!
I'm not exactly new, not exactly old, except kinda? I'll explain later but first of all,
I'm PiPeter, and i started following Aveyond when i was 12 (6 years ago, darn i feel old). One of my dad's friends was a massive keyboard warrior and got me introduced to forums when i was 10 , and then eventually another friend of his introduced me to Aveyond 2. To be honest, i was AMAZED by the amount of english i couldn't read.

However, I loved the game. It was visually appealing, and child me really liked the gameplay as it was my first RPG maker game. I did get stuck however at one point: The Beast's lair. Looking back now, I feel silly , because I kept thinking: "Maybe I can find dynamite in the house in the forest", "Maybe I can find dynamite in the city of love?". I remember having vivid hatred for the beast, because I found out later that he was hiding the dynamite, but i rage-quit the game without me even knowing the game tells you the beast has it.

1 year and a full playthrough of Bookworm Adventures later, and i went back to it. After trying 4 or so times, i finally got it and I finished the game. I then tried to 100% it over the course of many days and then I noticed something. When you start up the game, it said "Amaranth Games" (Which is what the site went by at the time). I decided to look into the forum part and I kinda liked it, so i made an account (Sorry @Aisling Yinyr Ngaio for making an account while 12), and I kinda liked it for a while, until the site sorta silenced out. I came back Once every year, followed the development of new Aveyond games aaand yeah .  Aveyond was the main reason I didn't have to worry in English class, and my first introduction to RPG's.
And that about sums it up. I used to have another account (PiePeter), but due to provider reasons, i lost acces to that e-mail account. So yeah, good day.

@Ishti I'll do my best to make it hilarious xD
Also I didn't use Excel to make an RNG program, but i do for a fact know it's possible by making excel run a code in a cell with the basis of making a calculation from one cell into another.
Also question, where should i post the story when i'm done? I've been quite inactive the last year and the entire site got re-constructed.

Okay so I have possibly the worst luck ever...
    My cast:
Spook Marge John Nox Nicolas Yvette Mel Dameon My game: Lord of Twilight
This... is gonna take some thought. Whew. At least I don't have to think too hard about who the main character is gonna be. That said, I drew several of my least favorite characters in the series. I'm gonna have to take a little time on this one!
Here are pics of my tribulation so you know it's legit.

Oh my gosh, that's actually a sweet list. I could see Iya being the lost princess, you know? But absolutely any of them have protagonist potential from awesome to hilarious. I'm excited to see what you write!!
Also, if you have time, I'd really love to know how you made an RNG program in Excel. I'm kind of an Excel greenie and I should probably brush up on it so my resume is a little more honest, lol.

    Heya!
This idea is pretty sweet. I've compiled an Excel list alongside of a RNG-program and I ended up with:

    So yeah that's
Lars, Emma, Lydia, Iya, John, Ava, Yemite and Nox in the AV1 setting. That'll be insane since there's no real protagonist (Ean or Mel etc.)

Hey, everyone! I just had the most fun idea for a writing game, and I want to share with y'all! The premise is that you have to figure out how a totally random cast of characters interact and work together. The result is total crack!
The first thing you're gonna want to do is compile a list of the main characters in each of the Aveyond games you've played. (By "main characters", I mean characters who are part of your fighting party.) Then, you randomly select eight of them. You can do this by putting the names in a hat and drawing 8, or you could find some way to use random number generation. I'm a fan of the classics, so I'd use the hat. Next, you do the same with the PLOTS of the games you've played (for this, I'd write "Rhen's Quest", "Ean's Quest", and "Orbs of Magic" on my list). You draw one game, and that's the plot you have to work with!
For instance, I might randomly draw Elini, Ava, Nicolas, Mel, Dameon, Ulf, Emma, and Iya as my main cast. Then, I draw Rhen's Quest as my plot, so I have to make my cast fit the plot of Rhen's Quest. Since Rhen isn't in my party, I should choose a different party member to be the prophesied royalty... maybe Mel. Dameon is in my party, so I might keep him in his normal Rhen's Quest role - but he'd be trying to tempt Mel instead of Rhen! What would that look like?
    So, to recap:
List all playable characters from Aveyond games you've played Randomly select 8 List the names of the Aveyond games you've played Randomly select 1 Use the plot of the random game and the 8 random characters to write some quality fic of any length! I get a little obsessive, so it'll be tough not to write a full-length AU fic, but I'm going to try a random drawing & a drabble tomorrow! I super duper encourage everyone else to give it a shot, too, and I'd love to see your fic posted in this thread!

This seems fun, I suppose i should try too.
In my culture, it is a common sight to see 8-year olds riding tractors. In fact, most 16 year olds get a tractor- license before they get a normal driver's license.
