I've sent that file to my friend and it won't recognize it on their pc either

I've added a file from my friend to the folder and it recognizes that file but it still won't mine

I've accidentally turned off my pc mid save and now when I go to load the game it doesn't show the save file. When I go to the save files folder the save is there. How do I force the game to recognize the save file?
