  1. Thanks you? I will certainly do my best to continue honing my skills as a Game Designer!
  2. People are still playing this game? O_o I'm flattered!
  3. No one ever checks those forums, much less posts to them, Aisling. Not even to speculate or thank for the game. <-- sad panda Okay, my sob-scene for the year. Back to working on Patch #7 and Part Two!
  4. I really think I should have that in one of the tutorial booklets. Anyway, went and made it impossible for the PCs to use the Lindblum Boat to go back to Lindblum after the Cave of Trials. It'll be included in Patch #7.
  5. The answer is also given by Tsunami in Hyne when Anime and her read Shen Long's letter.
  6. It seems out of all the bosses in the game (save for the Final Boss), Mister Grimm is the one I see people having the most trouble with. Is he really all that hard? O_O Sorry if I seem incredulous, but I have never had any problem with him when everyone was at Level 5...
  7. I wanna chime in here really quickly. Now-a-days, becoming a company is ridiculously easy. You can become an LLP or LLC for under a hundred dollars, and for filling out a one page form (something called 'Articles of Organization'). Google 'creating an LLP' and read for yourself. Of course, I am assuming that you are operating out of the United States of America. I have zero knowledge on how businesses are created in other countries.
  8. @Mayflower: Hey, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to your post, but I don't crowd here as much as Aisling, Xchain, Dawnfire, and others do. It sounds like, from the behavior you are describing, that your computer is choking up during gameplay on the World Map. This often happens with older computers. There isn't much I can do on my side, although I have thought of optionally disabling the fog on the World Map. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is nothing that I can do as a Game Designer. My initial advice for you is to not have anything else running when playing Lost Legacy. If you are running Windows XP, try going into Task Manager and setting RPG_RT.exe to a higher priority. Are other applications running slowly? It is possible that you are running out of hard drive space. If you could post or PM you CPU speed, RAM, and video card type, it would help me to learn of where Lost Legacy's 'benchmark' is. Good luck!
  9. Here is the new download! Thanks X-chain for reminding me! http://www.rpgmaker.net/games/930/downloads/1041/
  10. aislingyngaio, I would expect nothing less from the person who made that butt-kicking walk-through
  11. I make no bones about it in my publications about Lost Legacy and Threshold. Both games are based in the universe of Animania, a LARP I run annually at Project Akon. In that LARP, people play as their favorite anime/animeish video game characters. The characters you see in Lost Legacy and Threshold have been in those LARPs. I originally made Lost Legacy and Threshold for the fans of my LARPs, and some how it just ballooned into something so much bigger. So yeah, I don't pretend for a second that I don't use other people's characters. It's supposed to give you that same thrill that a Disney fan gets playing Kingdom Hearts, In the ending credits for both Lost Legacy and Threshold, you can see a list of sources borrowed for the game. Hope that helps explain things!
  12. Just keep playing the game. You'll find out.
  13. Thank you everyone! I'm only on here to check occasionally, and will still use my own board for feedback and to help, but I wanted to thank everyone here for the interest in Threshold! Even though it's a much darker and more difficult game than Lost Legacy, it's definitely my favorite of the two. You all have been wonderful, especially Xchain and Dawnfire, in giving me the support I need to continue my career in Game Design. Bless you all!
