  1. Wow that's really sad. Aveyond games continue to be my absolute favourite. I wish Amanda so much success in the future and of course hope the forums continue to go on.
  2. Stay active here and I have no doubt that there will be many more beta testing opportunities!
  3. I'm excited to hear that some form of the guilds will come back. I know mine was a quiet one but I still had a lot of fun with it. I felt a kinship to my fellow DLers and loved all the guild fairs. It added an extra level of interaction to the site!
  4. I would also love to beta test!!! Very excited! Can't believe we're already on page 3. Lol

Sorry Black Princess just re-checked this now! It's mmmmm modern fantasy maybe? Harry Dresden is a wizard of the streets of Chicago...his adventures are set in the real world but include fantasy creatures such as vampires and the fae.

I've been reading Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series lately and absolutely love it. Anyone else out there tried him? If so I'm nearing the end and would love a recommendation on a similar series. Help!
  7. When I was in university I would head to a different area (library, breakout room, caf) to study so that I'd be unplugged and unable to procrastinate. Of course that was in the days before wireless and smartphones. To add to Bemused's comments starting a book series during exams isn't all that smart either. My second year midterms didn't thank me for starting Harry Potter at the beginning of them.
  8. I'll have to look into it! I'm fairly new to anime.
  9. Is beelzebub anime related to the hitchiker's guide to the galaxy? I recognize the name from there - or at least it's very close to a name from there.
  10. I didn't mind them Amanda - at least until the iCredits section is working as I'd have a general idea on how/when credits are awarded!
  11. Nope - I like casual RPG and Ipad games...right now clash of clans. Ok what mytholygical beast and why: dragon, phoenix, unicorn, or chimera?
  12. Are those baby chameleons? I thought they were much bigger creatures! Adorable - their eyes look so funny.
  13. You'll get there soon BlackPrincess - it happens before you know it.

Argoyle - phew I'm not the only one! Sounds cool...although another way for me to magically lose time in my day!

    Ok I'm old...what's Tapatalk?
  16. Silverdragon - cool idea! No idea if there will be some sort of re-enactment of the fairs that used to occur but getting credits for the work of putting them on would also be fun. Does anyone know where you can see your total accumulation of credits?
  17. Perfect Argoyle thank you - I hadn't noticed that path before. Now I'll get to skip the bug entirely.
  18. Aaaaah this is the topic I've been looking for - sorry for my repeat questions in the village square. Overall great new site Amanda. Is there a space where we can still report bugs? I only ask because everytime I click on the forum title to see the list of forums to get back to village square, I get a page not found bug and then need to click on it a second time in order to get to the page I want. Also I noticed some shiny new credits in my posession...I assume that this is what you were talking about in terms of the new shop system?
  19. Meroko you're talented! I love the dooles I flipped through but I think that last animation is my favourite. Did you program it for the tail to move yourself? Very cool.
  20. Thanks for posting that Amanda - that's very interesting! I love your games because they remind me of some of the first I ever cut my teeth on (King's Quest, Legend of Kyrandia were my favourites) and I wonder if it's the same for the majority. Something fun to think about, thank you.
  21. What I've been curious about is the demographics (I'm not even sure if Amanda has a way to track this - unless age is recorded when signing up for accounts?). I've long been curious whether these types of RPGs skew older to computer fogies like me (mid-30s) as they tend to be simpler to understand and play or whether for that very reason these RPGs skew younger to people first getting into gaming...or just somewhere in between!
  22. I feel like my resolutions are a little more lame (but still what I want to do!) 1. Empty my basement of unneeded stuff and set part of it up as a playroom. 2. Re-stain the fence. 3. Finish our kitchen update that has been about three years in the making.
  23. Any Canadians out there who watched tv in the 90s...if so then I want a house hippo! So random I know.
  24. Thanks for asking Emma this was exactly my question. Although us dragon lords were on the quiet side I quite liked being a part of them! Second question on this (and apologize if this has already answered) - will beta testing of future aveyond games now be open to all?
