There are only three blue chests on the Mainland, excluding goodie caves. Two are at Quin Castle, one in the Catacombs.

As you come into the Woodlands from the World Map, head west until you see a river. cross the bridge, where you will encounter two chickens. climb down the ladder and you'll see the white flower plant thing. that's the thistleroot.

I think part of the reason is that Aveyond is pretty popular with RPG folks. I've been watching BFG's RPG list for a long time, and what I've noticed is that while new RPGs may dominate the #1 spot due to brisk sales during the first month, inevitably, in the long run, all six Aveyond games will still float back into the Top 10 RPGs. One or two may fall off for a short spell, but all six will always bounce back again, which is no small feat.

With the coming of the iOS and Android markets though, I cannot pretend that I'm not a little scared at the way Sandlot, Reflexive, Alawar, Playfirst, and many other prominent game developers abandoned the PC/Mac market (even abandoning support for their own game catalogue) and pray that Amaranth won't ever need to go the same way. What we have to remember is that those companies are probably very investor conscious, so they had to abandon what they saw as a declining market in favour of richer pastures. But I don't think PC games will truly die until Windows phase out support for Windows 7, which hopefully won't be for another five years.

(Aside from anything else, I don't think I can play my DotA on a Samsung pad - I'd get owned for sure! XD)

You can use the Build B walkthrough for Build C, as there are very few changes regarding the storyline and quests, and they're rather minor.

Build C walkthrough? I think, for the most part, you can refer to Build B's walkthrough. since there're only some very minor additions here and there.

Unfortunately, I do believe the games were removed because the developer is no longer supporting the Laxius Power series. Your best bet will be to find a player who still has a functioning game link or is willing to upload his/her game copy for you, otherwise you're pretty much out of luck.

Aisling Yinyr Ngaio got a reaction from jewelks in Lost Orb - Dig sites not responsive
Just for this I have replayed Aveyond: The Lost Orb through again and I think I know what the issue is now.

I suspect you are playing Build C of TLO while following the walkthrough of Build B. In Build C, there was a tightening of the storyline and gameplay - as a consequence, the entire subplot of digging up clues from Mordred about the location of the Orb of Death has been scrapped, and the journal you see in the Peliad Sewers will immediately direct you to the cave system where the Orb is hiding. There is therefore NO dirtpile to dig up in Build C. You can therefore skip that entire section of the walkthrough directly to the part where you need to head to Stonetooth Caverns.

I absolutely agree on 100kb. It's after all the limit on the old site.

Also, you have to remember that not everyone has your monitor size or your internet connection speed. Forum use should be streamlined for the comfort of most users (including visiting guests who browse for answers to their game hurdles), and for the contents of the forum more than the representations of the users (which IMO should be considered an added bonus instead of a necessity).

Tei, what I do is I hide all the huge signatures permanently so that I'm not bothered by them in the future XD

As for the Avvies, I think 512x512 is way too excessive (I mean, even the old siggie limits were 440x135, and that's externally hosted pics!). Even back on the old site we were 100x100, and I think that's more than adequate. Increasing it back to 100kb should be enough, if the site bandwidth can withstand it.

Also: siggie pics aren't hosted on this site so it doesn't take away storage space or loading bandwidths unlike avvies.
