  1. Sorry for the crankiness of my last post. I'd been gaming the entire Aveyond series, and it was too much RPG and too little ZZZ. I had no problem with working it out the first time, but I forgot how to do itthe second time through! The next day, with a clearer head, I went back and went, "Oh, wow, of course, I needed to do X before Y could happen." Duh. My bad. The logical sequence of events is one of the reasons I love the Aveyond games.
  2. I'm wondering why the Administrator is saying that you can't do things vis a vis the Giant Crab that people have clearly found a way to do. At no point does the game make it clear that you have to fulfill certain conditions to fight the Giant Crab. I've been beating my head out for over an hour trying to figure out what I've been doing wrong. Apparently, nothing, I just have to go back to five or six differerent cities and talk to six of seven dozen people to find the one who coincidentally will allow me to fight a Giant Crab half a world away. Sorry I was so slow on this one.
  3. For those of you who have been following the thread, Kayolan from Ivent wound up uploading the Hero's Tale game to Mediafire, and I finally got it downloaded from there. I think my prior problem with Plimus may have been with Millennium from Adorlea Games, since Amaranth uses license keys and provides an alternate download from their own site. But Plimus is not really living up to their customer service guarantee. Word to the wise.
  4. Exactly, belinda, lol. I got hold of the developer, who is equally mystified by Plimus' servers, and am getting help that way, though. He keeps reactivating the download, and I will keep trying until it goes through.
  5. I didn't expect Amaranth to supply the code key. I just wanted to give you a head's up, this is the second time I have had this problem dealing with Plimus. Both you guys (thank you!) and Kayolan (re: Hero's Tale) have answered my request, and I've received a second email from Plimus, which resulted in the same response as the first. The page you are trying to reach is currently unavailable. This may be due to a scheduled maintenance, please try again later. How much later is later? I've been trying to access them for over twelve hours now. First download attempt was at 2:00 pm, it is now 2:00 am. The game keeps giving me the Buy Now popup. The problem is, I already bought it, and have a Pay Pal receipt to prove that. Can anybody help?
  6. Hey, shaz, thanks for responding. I'll forward the emails, as you suggested. I did purchase A Hero's Tale via your site (not that I'm blaming you guys for anything, LOL), and if you could give me a key that would be wonderful. The same thing happened to me when I ordered Lords of Twilight. I was supposed to link to a Plimus site to get the full download, but I wound up with bupkiss. So rather than playing a game I like a lot, I am emailing people.

  8. This might be a weird topic, but I've tried to order two games now that are somehow brokered through Plimus, and both times it was an enormous hassle. Both games were ordered through Amaranth, and I played the Demo Version both times. Then I decided to order the full copies, paid through Pay Pal, and when I got the ordering instructions by email, I was told to click on a Plimus link. Both times the link brought up a message that said the site was closed due to "scheduled maintenance." No other options were given to get my key. The first time (an Aveyond game, I forget which one), I spent three days emailing your tech guy (who was great, by the way) to get my license key. This other game is from another developer, but I will probably have to bug them to death to get the game I already paid for. I even tried to email Plimus, but all they did was forward my email to the game developer. If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know! I can be a dim bulb sometimes, I know, but I love your games and your forum, and I just want to play!
