  1. This gme is really looking nice and polished, will keep an eye out for this! btw, is it coincidence that "ridder" means knight in dutch
  2. Extra credits alwas posts eye-opening videos in my opinion
  3. While I do agree that there is a security issue, I don´t think it lies with the use of the printers. I doubt criminals or who ever else will just bring the bullets with them and make the gun with the printer at the place of the crime. One reason is that these printers are not widely available and won´t be for a while. second reason that printing a gun is not very subtle third reason because the gun cannot be detected anyway, so they actually take the same risk of being detected as when they would just carry the bullets
  4. Will we ever find Aveyond in Steam or Desura stores? Some companies decide not to do it because they find the policy clashing with their own, wondered what Amaranthia´s point of view on that was
  5. I like Henry! some more advice on the maps: if you make a new map, start off with an area that you think will be too small to fit all the things that you want on it. If you find it is indeed too small, extend it afterwards one oter thing, in the snow map, the road ends up next to the gate, it would be more logical, and, in my opinion, aesthetically pleasing if it ended up in front of the gate nice work though! keep us updated
  6. something I also liked are puzzles, however, most puzzles in aveyond are pretty easy, i guess so everyone is able to finish them. Maybe make a part in the game that is not mandatory to finish, with a lot of puzzles, would be cool. I also consider solving problems on you way (like blowing up a rock on your path), as a puzzle. I am not sure if this is even implemented in aveyond, but I really like chain trades, where you have to trade one item for another, and then trade that item, and so on, untill you get something really cool. I also really liked the potion mixing idea, however, I never used it, because you could only use it in one village, and overall it was just not wrth it for me. Would be re interesting if you could do something similar for armor and weapons I think, since those are durable

    Phobias

Well I am not sure if they really are phobias, but i am scared of the and they are irrational, so I guess they do, even if i can cope with them pretty well. So here I go: Ballophobia: Fear of balloons, yes I know, silliest thing ever. If I touch them or they come close, I fear they might pop and hurt me. I guess it´s a childhood trauma thing. This phobia also extends to rubber bands, tires and other elastic stuff that is being pulled on so it might snap. I also hate the fact that they may cause static electricity, which I will come to later Fear of electric shocks: I am very prone of getting shocks from static electricity, so I am veru conscious of not touching stuff that may cause them, this also leads to fear from: - Doorhandles, refridgerators, metal stairs, electric doors, metal chairs, sometimes even touchscreens - Basically every metal object - Touching people (in winter) Fear of hurting my head: as soon as I see anything flying around like a ball or anything, I duck as if the third world war just began…. Fear of noisy machines: especially if they look really old and they shake and look like they could explode any moment Fear of the outside world: it doesn’t happen often, actually only when I am under a lot of stress and a lack of sleep, but sometimes I am just afraid of almost everything. Yes, sometimes I do cross the street so I don’t have to walk past a trashcan. If I list them it sounds like I should get some help, so I think I am just ending the list there XD
  11. Good job, I really like how you draw the hair!
  12. oh wauw, I really love your artwork, especcially this one for some reason http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1aw6inQcD1r5hafvo1_1280.png
  13. For me, it is very important that all the questions are answered in the end of the series, so if I know there will be a sequal, im fine with some open plots. I think the ending may be a bit dark or sad, but it is very important that I don´t feel like i am a bad player, or that I feel powerless. I have to know it was meant to end this way, and it doesn´t dissapoint me. But if the endboss just smacks me down in the end and calls me weak, that´s just annoying
  14. I see sidequests as a great opportunity to get the player more involved with the game lore. I like sidequests when they deal with some local legends, history,... I think it is very important that sidequests are part of the story and not just a sidetrack. If you are given a quest to hunt down a werewolves who killed several people areound the country, it makes no sense if only the questgiver mentions him. Also, its nice if the world changes a bit after you finished the quest, some new dialogues, minor changes in the maps, a new character,....
  15. so why are there 2 legionwood2 titles? confusing
  16. actually I tried her first book in english and I found the writing style of the dutch translator a lot more mature and better. *is being shot by every single HP fan on earth* as for the last book I disliked the plot, so I kind of made a deal with myself to read this book in english to have a better view on her writing skills
  17. nope, and for as far as know, I haven´t seen much musicians n this site, even less making songs for games, you coud rry getting some royalty free music
  18. In Belgium the capital is one of the most unsafest places to be openly gay, there is a lot of gay bashings every year. It doesn´t really matter how important a city is, it has more to see with the mentality of his inhabtants. Of course this doesn´t mean that it is ok to be this discriminating, especially not for policemen on duty, who are expected to enforce the law, not break it.
  19. may I suggest polishing the first post a bit? Now it´s a huge chunk of text and a bit hard to read. If you plan to make this in rmxp I might help with the mapping (can´t make new tiles though)
  20. seems like someone can´t stop making aveyond stuff and finally brought it to the higher but inevitable level of making her own game huh? It´s ok though because D_A became a synonym for quality stuff in my mind, so I hope you zill complete this thing (D_A is somehoz alo synonym for unfinished things, however I am not sure why) the title screen looks fun and very nifty, however it is also something I would like to nag about after a while because it takes 3 seconds more to load the game because of the walking... anyway, can´t wait to see the game, the VX midgets don`t bother e qs much as they used to before
  21. why did you stop working on the first game, and start with this?
  22. the first map is not rtp is it? where did you find it?
  23. I study in den mark now, and I have always been told that the only tricky part of the language is the pronounciation, but even that is alright I think this might just be fir me though, it kind of looks a bit similar to german and dutch.
