@Brycej - The exe file for AP is named RPG_RT.exe :)

It was just left as the standard RPG Maker exe name.

So, basically, forza just can't get the game to run.

It seems a rather common problem on the RPG forums... you need to register MSSTDFMT.DLL.

Firstly, this program should be found in your %windir%\system32 director.

Next, to register it, simply follow these instructions:

1) Please first make sure by whatever means that your %windir%\system32 directory contains the file MSSTDFMT.DLL!

2) From the start menu, select "Run..."

3) Enter the following (sans quotes, of course): "regsvr32 %windir%\system32\MSSTDFMT.DLL"

4) Hit enter... and, assuming it registers properly, all should be fine.

If you cannot find this file on your system, feel free to ask and we can provide one.

As for the EXE name... well, I asked Amanda what the name of AP was and she said it wasn't RPG_RT... next time, I'll check my own installation as well! ;)

Firstly, thanks for the fast responses :thanks: . There is no such file in my sys32 directory but i found the file in this directory C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64. I did the register thing in the run window (changed the path to the actual one), it said the registration is successful but the same error keeps on popping ... should i move the file or what ?
