She growls at the back of her throat, letting go of the man's leg. Running twards her owner, scared, she hid behind her. "That man is scary.... He won't even say, 'ouch!'.... He's dreadfully scary yes yes yes." She hides behinde her owner. She looks up at the sky, then back to the car, a Vampire is laying on the ground, she still stays put in the same place.

(Wow. This is like, the FASTEST RP I've been in for a while. cuz all the RP sites are dead. DX Well anyways.)

Natalie nodded as Kamae explained what was going on with Heiro. She wasn't really paying much attention, but she had heard what they had said. She walked over to a window, curious as to what was happening with the fight outside. She assumed that the vampires here would know what was going on, due to their super hearing and sight and what not.

Glancing out the window, she noticed that Fluffy, Rhinnan's chiwawa and Rhinnan had insisted on bringing, was now biting one of the vampire's legs. She assumed he was all for the 'Drink Rhinnans Blood till she's Dry' cause. She noticed that one of the female vampires had fallen, extinct(She's already dead, so can't say that XD), to the ground. She then turned around, not all that eager to watch the fight. It was a life or death situation, and Rhinnan was right in the middle of the fighting vampires, and standing on the car.

"Can you not bring Rhinnan in here?" She knew the answer to that already, but she felt the need to ask. She stared at the vampires, and then her gaze drifted to the floor. She then asked, "What are the chances of Min'hira and whoever's with him to win? I would guess it would be more since there are two of them, but that dude looks pretty powerful, so I'm not sure. And Min'hira's already hurt as it is. So you tell me, since I'm no vampire expert." Unlike Rhinnan, she added silently to herself, smiling about how her friend did love things about vampires.

((profiles of these two: www.freewebs.com/teihighnecromanceroftheskies go to characters, then kamae asama and heiro'tama fukaiira))

((NOTE: i'm going to wait for heimdall before i resume posting with Min'hira))

Kamae shrugged.

"We could try," he said. "She'd be safer in here, without a doubt...but...i don't know how well we'd be able to..." he dropped off. "None of us is as fast as Min'hira. His skills are special." His eyes fell upon Heiro. "But..."

"Oh no you don't!" the younger vampire cried. "I may be faster than Kay or you, but I am definately not fast enough to grab her and escape from Do'ehelo, especially carrying her. It would get us both killed."

Kamae watched out the window for a moment. "I really wish we could treat that burn before he gets hurt further. You know he's going to," he said.

Heiro took his friend's hand and laid his head on his shoulder. "Do you think everyone will be all right?" he asked quietly.

"Already we've had to kill Ayela," Kamae said. "And I don't think there's any changing Do'ehelo's mind in sight."

"You can turn undead, you're a cleric," Heiro said.

"But I think Do'ehelo is stronger than me. It doesn't work if he's stronger than me."

Heiro suddenly turned to look at Natalie. "If we were to go down there, would you be all right up here?"

"No," Kamae said. "We'll get Noriaa to stay up here with her. And Masana will come with us."

"And Kay," Heiro added. "Kiliara's Chosen are stronger when we're together."

((its fast...good!))

Do'ehelo returns to his normal vampire form with his katana. He saw all of them gathered together and were looking at him.

"Huhuhu...so now you are all fighting me together, eh? Huhuhuhuhuhu. Worry not. I am not here for the girl anymore. All of the citizens of the neighboring town has satisfied my needs...but that does not end there yet!! You will all pay for killing my lifetime partner, Ayela! I tell you...prepare to meet your maker!"

He sprints towards the roof of the building nearby. He raised his katana and points it at Min'hira and Neko.

"One word you horrible mongrels....DIE!!"

He swings the katana and released bolts of lightning towards all of them.

"Again...DIE!"

He meditates while his eyes are open. He can feel the movements of his enemies.

Her eyes wides as Do'ehelo pointed the katana then shot lightning out, she dug enough for her to hide in. "You ain't gettin' through ta meh owner." She jumps out of her hole, jumping onto the car, running and leaping for Do'ehelo, managing to bite his right arm. She growls at him.

Min'hira leapt from the car and after Do'ehelo, pulling out his whip and snapping it in the general direction fo Do'ehelo's sword arm. He noticed a small dog take a flying leap at Do'ehelo and took the advantage of what he hoped was at least a minor distraction.

"Illusion Whip!" he muttered, snapping the whip again. Its tip appeared near Do'ehelo's leg, which unless Do'ehelo had heard his enchantment, he would move as the real attack hit his shoulder.

***

"And so it begins," said Masana, staring out the window of his own home. Noriaa was playing with Nakela, but she was equally worried about Min'hira as her brother. "Kililara help you, StarChaser, you may be in over your head this time."

"Don't say that, Masana!" Noriaa said as Nakela built a tower with the colored wooden blocks. "He'll be okay."

Masana continued to stare out the window, cursing Kiliara's orders of not helping Min'hira when he seemed about to realize being a vampire could have advantages. "I sure as hell hope so."

***

Min'hira quietly promised himself that he would save these humans or die trying. He almost hoped to die trying...but why lose that many lives in one swoop? At least one of them is safe, he thought. Kamae and Heiro will protect her.

((Yeah, I guess the rule is gone. It's too good to r.p now!))

Rhinnan fell back off the car as a vamire hurled towards Rhinnan's new vampire friend, if that's what it's called. Making a yelp sort of sound with her vocal cords Rhinnan hit the ground, knocked out of breath.

Watching Natalie inside the car Rhinnan tryed to see if she could help her, something felt broken, like blood was on her or something..

((natalie is safe in min'hira's friends' house XD))

Something made Min'hira stop.

"Blood," he whispered. "One of the humans is hurt."

***

Kamae caught it too.

"I'm going down there," he said.

"I thought this was Min'hira's fight?!" Heiro half-asked. He was more than slightly worried for the safety of his closest friend.

"Never said I couldn't swoop in and swipe the humans out of harms way, did she?" Kamae smirked. "One of the vows I took when I became her cleric was to always protect the innocent."

"Does that count as helping him?" Masana's voice said from the doorway. Heiro jumped.

"Where did you come from?"

"I fell from the sky, Heiro, where do you think I came from?" he asked sarcastically. Heiro stuck out his tongue.

"And I am, after all, a cleric," he said. "It's kind of my nature to help. Speaking of help, Heiro, help me with this armor." Kamae wasn't a huge fan of armor, but if he was getting involved in Min'hira and Do'ehelo's fight, he wanted as much protection as he could get. He didn't wear plate armor--his armor was made from the skin and scales of a black dragon, giving him acid, water and electricity resistances.

"All right, here goes nothing," Kamae perched on the windowsill. "If something should happen...call Kiliara...she'll be able to save us."

"Let's hope nothing happens," said Masana. "I'd hate to have to admit that we helped Min'hira."

She lets go of the man's arm, turning around, seeing under the car that someone was hurt, she ran as fast as she can, sniffing her, licking her face to see if she was alright. "Whoa, that was really uncalled for." She sees almost everyone turning then looking to see if she was alright. She examins the friend, to see if anything was broken.

"mmmmmf! I really like your painful look, Rhinnan! Huhhuhuhuhuhuhu! I will come and get you!"

Do'ehelo dashes forward to Rhinnan while he swings his katana. Until he acts where something aching in his chest. He acts as if he feels a pain within him.

"Argh! My...chest....hurts....argh!"

He stops by the tree calmly until he suddenly he collapses on the ground. He thinks within himself.

"Lets see what these fools would do...second life of undeath!"

He chants a spell silently without anyone hearing which gave him protection against stakes.

He laid silent as he does his act.

She hears someone saying something whispering, "Huh?" she turns her head, to hear who's it coming from and she barks at Do'ehelo. "He's whispering something and I don't think that it's good." She jumps over her owner, then barks at Do'ehelo laying on the ground. "Grrr..." She bites Do'ehelo's shirt, trying to pull him, but just making a hole in the shirt. "I will not go ANYWHERE just because your evillllll..." She stares at Do'ehelo.

Neko tried to block the bolt of lightning headed towards her, but her mind knew.

"Too slow!"

The bolt went right through her chest, just inches away from her heart. Blood spurted from her chest, and she grabbed it, moaning.

"Crap! Maybe I should've listened to Moon Wolf and waited until I was completely immortal!"

((Okay. Explanation: Neko hasn't been a vampire for, um, probably not even a week. That's why she's still very protective of humans, and that's why she still bleeds. She's not [/i] fully immortal, just partly.))

Min'hira's eyes darted this way and that, trying to catch all the action. Do'ehelo fell, but no one had attacked him. The yappy dog was barking. Neko was bleeding. Kamae was perched on a windowsill in scale armor waiting to pounce. There was an incoherent whisper that Min'hira couldn't discern the location of.

What a mess.

When his back was turned, Kamae leapt down from the window. As he landed, he raised his right hand and said,

"Couros kizu malic mavas!"

At a familiar tingling in his burned shoulder, Min'hira recognized a Cure Critical Wounds spell that would heal not only him, but Neko and Rhinnan as well. Do'ehelo and Ayela, he wasn't so sure about.

"Kamae, get out of here!" he said. "Kiliara said this is my fight."

Kamae tilted his head and smiled. His charming smile could disarm even Kiliara. "We aren't to help you fight. She never said I couldn't heal you."

"Kamae, look out!" Heiro's frightened voice came from above. Kamae looked up at him, then with a soft moan, crumpled to the ground. A small, round stone sat on the ground behind him. Min'hira recognized it as a thunderstone, which would send a powerful shock through the body of whatever it hit.

Min'hira searched for options. He knew Kamae carried a hand crossbow. He wasn't the best shot with it, but it was worth a try. Using the stake as a bolt, he aimed directly at Do'ehelo's chest and pulled the trigger...

...but even a fallen vampire would flinch at that. Do'ehelo made no move. A thought dawned on Min'hira. Is he faking it?

She pawed Do'ehelo on the noes. "I'm not being nice ya' know?" She backs up watching im from beside the tree to watch if he even moved. "Hrm.." She dug nothing but from boredness, she dug, and found nothing but a root. "Oh well." She still watches Do'ehelo. As she continued digging.

(Hello Lonely, Natalie is in one of the vampire's houses! She's perfectly safe from lack of oxygen and vampires drinking her blood. :D )

Natalie stayed quiet as the vampire prepared to get Rhinnan. What was she suppose to say? They made the decisions around here, not her. She looked at the newcomer out of the corners of her eyes, but she had a hunch that the vampires could all notice her staring. She caught the name "Masana."

Dragging her gaze away from the only other girl, even if she was vampire, in the room, she watched Kamae moving out fo the room, and out....

The window??

It's not like they didn't have a front door, she thought to herself. As soon as Kamae was gone, she said, "I think I would have been fine if you had left me here. If the only vampire that drinks human blood is out there being distracted by your friend, how is he suppose to get at me?" She was only half being like that just to be annoying. The other half was because she was curious.

Rhinnan shockingly sat up. All of these vampires, fairytale creatures as you'd say basically surrounded her. Her vampire friend, huddled under a tree.

"My back... it feels broken." but it couldn't have been she sat up.

Turning slightly as her sides began to ache, she looked at her back...

There in the back of her back, blood seemed to be pooring everywhere.. a rock was stuck, a hige rock was stuck in her back....

Shock took on her as she couldn't help but to shake...

"My back feels broken..."

Min'hira felt like he had just fallen a great height. He was only a vampire because he had been in a fight, broken his back, and been attacked while hurt. Kamae and Kay had rescued him. But she wouldn't be sitting up if it were broken, he tried to comfort himself. Kamae moaned softly and sat up slowly, rubbing his head.

"That's why I was supposed to watch out, I suppose. Who threw that?"

"Not a clue. Wounded human, Kamae," he added.

"The smell of her blood is nearly suffocating me," said Kamae with a slight smile. "Trust me, I got that."

"Hop to it, then, Kamae, she's losing blood quickly."

Kamae moved to Rhinnan, thankful that he looked as little like a sterotypical vampire as it was possible to. "How many fingers am I holding up?" he asked calmly, putting one hand on her shoulders to support her, then holding up the other in front of her.

***

"Phalanges," said female voice. "How many phalanges am I holding up."

"Kimii, we don't all know the names of every bone in the humanoid body," Masana said.

"You definately do, Masana."

"Noriaa and Heiro don't."

"Who's the human?" she asked.

"Natalie, this is Kimii. She's our...bone specialist," he said with a smirk. "Kimii, this is Natalie, the human that Min'hira's told us to protect.

"Isn't Min'hira dreamy?" Kimii asked Natalie. "He's a wonderful man."

"And yes, Natalie, we do have a front door," Heiro said. "And yes, we do have some minor mind-reading ability. And don't worry," he smiled gently. "Kamae is a wonderful doctor."

"In regards to how another vampire that drinks human blood could get to you," another male voice said from the doorway. "Do'ehelo isn't the only one. He's just the most dangerous. All of us drink human blood if we have to--it makes us strong--"

"Ke'maru Itona, I swear, if you don't shut up right now, I'll cut your tongue out," said Masana. "You'll give her a heart attack."

"We wouldn't hurt you," the redheaded newcomer said. "I'm Kay, by the way."

Vampires now seemed to be reassuring her that everything was okay.

"How many fingers am I holding up?" one of them said.

"Three... I think." Rhinnan moaned as they seemed not to hear her.

A faint dizziness swooped over her as she tried to lay back down on the cold blood covered ground.

"I dont feel so good. I feel so dizzy. Just- don't eat me." Rhinnan said. "I feel sick, like, sick sick. I feel bad. I'd rather die of old age then of a blood sucking vampire, sucking all my blood out. Don't eat me! Leave me alone.... I feel like I'm about to fain-"all of a sudden Rhinnan gave out, falling backwards towards the ground.

Natalie turned pale as two more vampires came. Now there were four of them all in the same room. And the vampire, she thought his name was Ke'maru, made her very uneasy. Now she felt very uncomfortable knowing that these people had drunk peoples blood before. "Um," she didn't finish her sentence, but just moved over towards the window. She jerked backwards as the sight reached her though.

Rhinnan was on the ground by a tree, with a LOT of blood around her, and it looked like more was flowing. Kamae was there as well, but Natalie noted that Fluffy wasn't. She hadn't stood there long enough to catch sight of where the evil vampire was, but she didn't care now. She leaned against the wall next to the window and shuddered slightly, mostly from being freaked out. She managed t gain a grip on herself, but kept her eyes tightly shut. She was not going to see something like that again.

"I'm holding up four," he said quietly, catching her as she started to fall backwards. "You're safe now, Rhinnan. Min'hira and I are your friends. We'll bring you home, get you medical attention--you'll be fine."

"Kamae, go," Min'hira said. "I'm staying here until I know that Do'ehelo is finished."

"Take my crossbow," Kamae said, his hand now searching his side. Min'hira held it up. "Oh, you already did," he said. "Good thinking." Kamae carefully, gently scooped Rhinnan up in his arms and stood.

"Take good care of her, Kamae," he said. "I'll be home hopefully soon."

Kamae rubbed his cheek against Min'hira's by way of a hug. "We'll be watching. Give a shout if you need one of us to heal you."

"You know I wouldn't do that."

"Then I'll have Kay watch you," he said. "I'm not letting you give up your own life for this."

Kamae returned to the house through the front door.

***

"Human blood makes Min'hira and I sick. I mean it, I can't drink it. I'll start throwing up. And we don't bite the healthy either, young or old--you're safe, I promise," Heiro said. "Trust me, I was as freaked out as you were when I first came...but I fell in love." He looked at Kamae, coming through the door with a wounded human in his arms. Kamae nodded at Natalie. Heiro put one gentle, cool hand over her eyes, then nodded to Kamae.

"Masana, Kay, scoot. Noriaa...you can stay if you want to. Heiro...you know the most about humans. Natalie...keep your eyes shut," Kamae said, laying Rhinnan face-down on his bed and turning her head to the side so she could breathe. He got out a carved box from a shelf, which he put on the bedside table and opened, removing bandages and all sorts of other medical items.

"What do you want me to do?" Heiro asked.

"Keep your hand over her eyes. Or find a blindfold. I want the humans to hold hands...but this won't be pretty. And...if you could find some kind of a shirt for her to wear that would let me see her back but not anything else...that would be great."

Her mind was going fuzzy. She saw her owner fall then been picked up by a person, a person faking to be dead. She ran in a circle, then softly walked tward the house that her owner was carried into. She yaps at the door. "Hey! Let me in!" She paces back and fourth as she waits at the door.

"I won't die...for now...ack..."

Do'ehelo endures the pain of being shot by a gun with a stake. He bleeds with blood as well but he still survives thanks to the spell he chants earlier.

"Even though you shot me...I am still protected!

"O lepir, mor a piren mort!"

"Nahitus pir los uten, nois laten o lepir tas!!!"

"Nir laste o lepir, posen eran a pir; lait lir pinat an este!"

"A lir eran tas!! LIR ERAN TAS!!!!"

He shouts at Min'hira using the ancient language while he held his scar from the shot.

"A lir ieaa!! Lir eran tas cu uten lo pira Ayela!"

((Anyone can assume on what he said))

((I'm sorry, but I can't. What does he mean?))

Rhinnan's limp body was being carried by her newly made friends. Her eyes flickered open slowly and strangely but still she couldn't see very much. Her head was burning, and strangely her back had no feeling, just all she saw was blood, blood, blood.

This was such a vacation. "Wait. I don't want to go. Just I'm fine..."

the words trailed out of her mouth as she hoped it would stop them from making her go home.

Neko couldn't quite decipher what Do'ehelo said, but she had a pretty good idea of what it meant. She ran over to Min'hira, and knelt on the ground beside him.

"I'm not too great at other languages, but without a doubt-it's got something to do with Ayela."

She turned to him nervously.

"What if he somehow revives him? We won't stand a chance!"

((um...neko darling...cure critical wounds healed you too XD you're not bleeding anymore))

((and heimdall: it was a crossbow XD crossbows do have triggers, but they use arrows))

"Shh, Rhinnan," Kamae said, gently touching the human girl's forhead. "It's okay, you're safe now. Heiro, tell Kay to open the door. That little yappy dog wants to come in." Kamae took a small knife and made a neat cut down the back of Rhinnan's shirt to get a clear look at the wound. He used a spell called Mage Hand to remove the shirt entirely and throw it to Heiro. "And wash that, cast Mending on it while you're at it."

"Will do," Heiro said, catching it with the hand that wasn't occupied covering Natalie's eyes. "Close your eyes?" He felt her eyelashes against his hand, then removed it and steered her to a chair, pressing gently on her shoulders to make her sit. He then proceeded to carry out the tasks that Kamae had assigned to him.

"This is a pretty serious cut," Kamae said, gentle fingers picking bits rock from it. "This is going to hurt, Rhinnan."

***

Min'hira frowned deeply and wished Heiro were there to translate. Whatever Do'ehelo was saying, it was in a language that he didn't understand either.

"Clearly it has something to do with Ayela...but she can't be raised so long as the stake is still in her...and if she's raised, she'll be human again...it's just the way being a vampire works." He picked up the thunderstone that had been thrown at Kamae by an unknown attacker. "If Do'ehelo is still talking, he clearly has some sort of immunity to stakes. We'll need another way to kill him...garlic...holy water..."

He thought hard for almost a minute, then turned to the window in which Kay was standing, watching, waiting for him to need help. He said in Vampire sign language,

"Get me a goblet and holy water."

Kay signed back, "Holy water? Where do you want me to get that?"

"Ask Kamae."

Kay disappeared from the window, then returned with a silver goblet and a small vial, held them up, then brought them out.

"What are you doing?"

"Being tricky." Turning so there was no way Do'ehelo or Ayela, if she were awake, could see what he was doing, he poured ten drops of holy water into the goblet, then took Kay's sword from it's sheath.

"And now what are you doing?"

"Still, being tricky." He slit his wrist.

"What in the--"

"Vampire blood has pretty powerful healing powers...if it's not poisonous," he added in such a whisper it was barely audiable even to the two standing next to him.

He swirled the contents of the goblet, then approached Do'ehelo.

"Do'ehelo?" he said softly, tugging the stake from his enemy's ribs. "Do'ehelo, drink this," he said, shaking his shoulder gently. "It will help your strength. You'll drain yourself horribly trying to raise Ayela. This will give you back your strengh. Please, Do'ehelo, this fight was stupid. Drink, I plead you."
